DARYA DOMRACHEVA WINS PURSUIT

Darya Domracheva from Belarus had a double-digit victory in women’s pursuit of the Biathlon World Cup Final.

The leader of women’s overall standings had only one missed target and showed the fastest skiing. However, Darya was very close to ruining her second shooting mixing prone with standing.

“Thanks to all the fans on the stadium that started shouting me “Lie down!”, — says the pursuit winner.

Kaisa Makarainen from Finland had three missed targets and was the 4th at finish. Silver and bronze went to German athletes Laura Dahlmeier and Fnanziska Preuss.

Therefore, tomorrow’s mass-start will be a decisive race in the fight for the main Trophy of the season in women’s total score.
